ePortfolios for RPL Assessment Workshop
A one day workshop in ePortfolios for best practice Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment, offering hands on experience and expertise in one spot.
This workshop offers participants the rare opportunity to have hands on experience with an ePortfolio platform whilst being guided by area experts. It is based around the release of The Australian Flexible Learning Framework report ePortfolios for RPL Assessmentin March, 2009. The report highlights the benefits ePortfolios can provide in the RPL process. These include facilitating self-assessment, supporting communication, presentation and validation of evidence, and managing the RPL process. The workshop aims to combine the hands on experience of these processes with the rationalisation of ePortfolios. Each organisation has set processes which differ from others, therefore there is not a one size fits all ePortfolio platforms. This workshop aims to show:
How to set objectives for ePortfolio use
What business decisions need to be addressed for ePortfolio implementation
How to overlay a RPL process on an ePortfolio platform
How to structure a ePortfolio system; and
How ePortfolios can be used beyond RPL
As part of the workshop package you will receive:
